Failed Picnic......

Packed for Early Evening Picnic in Elysian Park:
Roasted Beet, Carrot and Parsnip Bread Salad
with Sauteed Mushrooms, Caramelized Onions and
Shallot Vinaigrette
2 cold glasses of beer.
Seconds after this picture was taken, just as we were taking our first bites, a ravenous roaming dog came along and gobbled up all of our dinner despite desperate attempts to stop him!
